Designer Doggie

Say hello to Alph, an experimental designer dog breed. This is the first of its kind, a Great Irish Terreneese. The result of an Irish Terrier mother and a Great Pyrenees father.

The litter consisted of six pups, all male. Most were brown with some white on the face, chest, tail or feet. Alph was one of two which had mostly white hair with brown markings. We were looking for a Pyrenees offspring with short hair. The cross was a success with the exception of a loss of shepherding instincts.

If I had it to do all over again, I might use a Hound and Pyrenees cross.
